Intel has rolled out a brand new form of its HD Graphics driver, namely the 26.20.100.6890 build, which promises an ideal gaming experience for Layers of Fear 2, adds stability and security improvements, and improves support for DP-VGA dongles and HDR monitors/panels.
Moreover, producer also highlights that its 6890 build resolves crashes/hangs observed in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, fixes Creo View 5.1 (OpenGL) corruptions, and ensures Rust (Vulkan) and Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (DX12) do not encounter any graphics anomalies.
Moreover, the current release improves performance when Conservative Morphological Anti-Aliasing (CMAA) is enabled for DX12 games and 3D apps, and implements other changes as highlighted within the Release Notes below.
In terms of compatibility, the present update is supplied in both .exe and .zip file formats which are suitable for the 64-bit architecture of Microsoft's Windows 10 os's. Moreover, make sure the body configuration features a supported processor.
In terms of installation, save the downloadable file (when the zip package is chosen, make sure to extract it), close all programs and procedures that may interfere with the upgrade, run the available setup file, and follow all instructions shown on the screen.
That said, download Intel Graphics Driver 26.20.100.6890 for Windows 10 DCH 64-bit, carefully put it on on your pc, and check back around as often as you possibly can to remain up to date with the latest releases.
